It is stand-up height so there will be no worries about getting in and out and it is said to hold up well in windy weather. The sleeping area has an inner tent attached to the outer shell, providing an additional layer of insulation and protection against the elements.

Regarding the Vango Odyssey, we were particularly impressed with the amount of weather resistance that came with their airbeam technology. Whether you’re camping with family or friends, everyone can enjoy their own designated area within the tent.This tent offers around 3 square meters of the floor area per person if used by 5 people, so this is a generous and comfortable design, and most importantly, the tent is totally reliable and with an impressive waterproofness rating. If you have never used an AirBeam tent before, you will be impressed by how quick and simple they are to pitch. You might want to know that they have the version of this tent with classic (fiberglass) poles and with all the same remaining features. It has plenty of windows with curtains so you can really make yourself feel at home in this one if camping for long periods of time.

Odyssey tents provide plenty of warmth and light, yet they can regulate the temperature easily through an abundance of venting options. So while there is certainly a trade-off, we were still more than happy with the toughness of this tent!
