About this deal

Caroline Kennedy, on the way to her father’s funeral, winding down the limousine window to hold agent Bob Foster’s hand as he walks alongside.

I loved Hitler's Last Day as it gave some really interesting facts and facts that maybe wasn't that widely known, however, this book seems to be very straightforward and includes nothing that hasn't already been written before.I think partly could be that I had such little knowledge of the people involved in Titanic and was fairly familiar with JFK. The shooting of the President and the medics’ vain fight for his life, Oswald’s arrest, his death at the hands of Jack Ruby and the swearing in of new leader Lyndon B Johnson on the plane bringing JFK’s body back to the nation’s capital. Including the details and testimonies of the everyday person, not just the names we hear so often, brings a human element to the story and really brings to life just how much of an affect Kennedy, and his assassination, had on everyone to this day.

We understand that not everyone can donate right now, but if you can afford to contribute, we promise it will be put to good use. A truly international and honest account of an event that shook the world, I would highly recommend this book to anyone. If you’re after confirmation the mob, CIA, Cuban hitmen or other dark forces were behind the killing of John Fitzgerald Kennedy this is not for you. The series charts the parallel timelines of his head of security Roy Kellerman, Lee Harvey Oswald and First Lady Jackie Kennedy. the following day KRLD-TV commentator Mike Wallace is getting ready to cover the president's Breakfast Speech and, filling in time before it begins, he tells listeners how difficult it can be for the Secret Service agents to control crowds in these circumstances. The Assassination of JFK: Minute by Minute' is pure chronological narrative, giving a blow by blow account of the terrible events as they unfolded.

The theories that abound surrounding JFK’s death may have conspired to lessen the horror of the event.Meanwhile Charles F Dameron, news editor of the 'Dallas Times Herald' is planning the day with military precision as he fears 'some nut will do something stupid'. It's pure chronological story, concerned only with what people are thinking and doing as the terrible events unfolded.

A great book that does exactly what the title suggests: gives a minute by minute account of the days before, during and after the assassination. And the overriding feeling that comes out from the descriptions of his activity in the Book Depository by those around him at the time, and remember this is not a conspiracy theory book, is that Lee Harvey Oswald is the shooter. This is the story of JFK's assassination as told from the frontline: it is about the people - from the highest to the lowest - who were caught up in that four-day whirlwind in November 1963. On the evening of 22nd November 2013, exactly 50 years on, The Assassination of JFK: Minute by Minute will tell the story of the murder of President Kennedy, from half an hour before Lee Harvey Oswald pulls the trigger, to Lyndon B. A very factual account of the events surrounding the assassination of JFK including the time each event took place.

And we learn how Jackie discovered Prince Philip on the floor playing with John Jr at the reception after the funeral.
