About this deal
Especially in Gender Studies in Thai mainstream education rarely found the study about masculinity and body politics which could lead to misunderstanding about 'penis'. Culturally and personally, no body part inspires love and hate, fear and lust, worship and desecration in the same way. I’m not going to weigh in too much on these quotes since they do an excellent job of speaking for themselves.
I have certainly seen 100 penises before but I have never known men to talk about themselves like this except to trusted sexual partners.
I don't think one person can have the final say on what masculinity is, so instead there are 100 men's stories and voices. In everything I do I desire to connect deeply with people, practise integrity, and interpret and present their stories with truth and memorable images. It wasn't always comfortable to read - the views expressed in here were occasionally distressing to me - but I was glad to have it laid out anyway, and feel perhaps better able to have discussions with penis-owning people about these things now.
My books Bare Reality: 100 women, their breasts, their stories, Manhood: The Bare Realityand Womanhood: The Bare Reality attracted worldwide media coverage and critical acclaim.
They’re like pillow talk, the conversations that you imagine men have with their partners, although a lot of men in the book told me that they don’t have these conversations with their partners.
