In the meantime Lindy has been home, she reconnects with her childhood best friend Peggy, and sees Billy Kincade, who Lindy disliked in elementary school because he would always pull her ponytail. She takes her advice, and as the days go by she struggles with leaving these people behind, but she is also completely dedicated to the job she’s worked so hard for the success she’s achieved there, and can’t imagine uprooting her life in Seattle.If you’re a holiday romance fan, watcher made for tv Holiday movies once you get into this one, you know the beats to expect- you’re aware of how the story is going to go but it’s the joy of the ride. Debbie has a way of pulling her readers right in and making them fall in love with all of her characters. I thought this Christmas romance really worked well because not only did it have a lovely romance, but the holiday piece, with the charming letters to Santa, and just the right touch of magic was pulled off so nicely.
