The Deep Cut saw features an increased depth of 51mm (2") and is ideal for cutting metal and tubes with a thickness of greater than 3mm, and wood up to 51mm (2") thick. The Carbide Tipped Deep Cut (CTD) Hole Saw is the perfect solution for repeated intensive drilling in mild and stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium and copper of all thicknesses up to and including 25mm (1”). Holes below this size can usually be achieved using a standard drill bit, while larger holes will generally require alternative cutting methods. This saw is particularly suitable where there is a requirement for a high-quality surface finish on the entry and exit hole and provides a smooth cut when cutting traditional lath and plaster. The strong, high-performance triple chip Tungsten Carbide Tipped (CT) Hole Saw offers a longer blade life when cutting difficult and abrasive materials.
