This grid is built for performing. It's compact and light enough to throw in your bag, yet tough enough to survive the roughest gigs. You can bus-power it via USB, or use the included power supply to take full advantage of the super bright RGB LEDs during dusk performances. Ableton Live Lite is a custom version of the popular ‘Ableton Live’ music production and performance software. Samples are simply audio files like .wav files which you are free to use inside a DAW, such as Ableton, to make your music. Integrated with Ableton Live – Tweak & Control Your Performances Using Mute, Solo & Stop Controls, all Without a Mouse! Launch Clips & Scenes with Just one Button Press. These Launchpads also let you choose functions on the pads, changing how the grid works with Ableton. For example, the Mini can be set to have the bottom row of pads being Stop/Solo/Mute controls, while the other pads still show the Session grid.Play chords with one finger – assign a fixed chord shape to the keys and it'll transpose as you move up and down the keyboard The Launchpad is compatible with all versions of Live (Intro/Standard/Suite) and comes bundled with a free license for Ableton Live Lite.
