The Studio Buds are no slouch in this department but the Fit Pro have beefier bass and slightly less harshness in the treble frequencies. If your Powerbeats Pro, Beats Studio Buds, Beats Studio Buds +, or Beats Fit Pro earbuds or charging case have been exposed to liquid, don't charge your Powerbeats Pro, Beats Studio Buds, Beats Studio Buds +, or Beats Fit Pro until both the earbuds and the case are completely dry. Charging when wet may damage your Powerbeats Pro, Beats Studio Buds, Beats Studio Buds +, or Beats Fit Pro earbuds and case. According to Beats, the Fit Pro have some of the best battery life of any of their earbuds—with ANC on you’re looking at around 6 hours per charge with 18 hours in the charging case. That’s around an hour-and-a-half more per charge than the AirPods Pro and is a significant improvement on Apple’s flagship true wireless earbuds.
Although they sound great out of the box, one of the main gripes I have with the Beats Fit Pro – and other Beats and Apple headphones, for that matter – is that there’s no option to change their EQ in the accompanying mobile app. If you find them a touch too bassy, you’ll simply have to live with it unless you have the option to change your phone’s EQ settings. The number of upgrades introduced on the AirPods Pro 2 might seem minimal on paper, but they are substantial in the bigger picture. Personalized Spatial Audio has been refined for enhanced immersive sound. The touch volume controls perfectly complement the Force Sensor system. Increases in playtime are greatly appreciated. Built-in Find My support for the MagSafe charging case is something you didn’t realize was essential until you misplace your unit. Lastly, the H2 processor makes the AirPods Pro 2 more futureproof.
