Your schedules etc won't be lost, this just removes the valve from the system When placed in the same room, does the Wiser Radiator Thermostat or the Wiser Room Thermostat take precedence?

In general, somewhat disappointed with the control characteristics of the system, can only describe the radiator stat's action as "on/off" control, can not see any attempt at achieving "proportional" action as was quite normal with the old dumb TRV's they are replacing, radiators are either piping hot or off, no modulated "in between" point.

Wiser Room Thermostat

I had a power failure and when Wiser powered up again I couldn’t see any measured temperature in the app and the room/radiator thermostats were unresponsive. Does it mean I have to recommission the system? My issue is now....... the kitchen radiator comes on whenever the bedroom or living room rad tells the boiler to fire up. I realise this would have happened previously when I had one thermostat in the hallway that told the boiler to heat the whole flat (ie any radiators fully open)... but now I am thinking- if tell the bedroom to heat up 9-11pm, and the living room 5-10pm etc- will this just mean the boiler is on from 5-11pm? If so- how would I start saving any money? I also, have the exact same issue, even down to the same model of valve. I'm currently working with a Wiser tech but he doesn't seem to know what else to try at the moment.

Drayton Wiser may be functional, but its plain all-white plastic design certainly isn’t stylish. If you prefer gadgets that make a design statement, this isn’t the smart thermostat for you. Have been setting up my home CH/HW Drayton Wiser system, oil fired boiler, 9 radiator smart stat's, Hub and 1 wireless stat associated with one particular area to compliment radiator stat.

But if *any* other Wiser TRV *or* the room stat calls for heat *all* the non Wiser TRVs rads heat up (inc the 2 in the room stat room).
