It all depends on what you’re looking for in a keyboard switch. The first one that comes to mind is the KBC Poker 2. This keyboard is a great option for those looking for a compact design with a lot of features. It comes with Kailh Box Jade switches and offers full n-key rollover, meaning you can press as many keys as you want at once and they will all register. The Kailh Brown is non-RGB and is not as good as switches from Cherry MX or Gateron with a slightly scratchy feel. I recommend the Kailh Box Brown instead. I made another change to my procedure by having another period of time at the end when I am speaking and typing at the same time. The reason is because I had observed RNNoise was able to remove fan noise while I was speaking when I was first testing it for my recordings, however long ago. I wanted to discover if it would be able to remove the sound of the Box Jades like it did the fan noise, which seemed like the fan was not there (something I will certainly enjoy in the Summer months). First though I want to share the results of the first sound tests, from shortly after I installed the switches. Whilst these have a lower sound they also have a lower tactile bump which is disappointing. They feel similar to the Gateron Brown that also has a low tactile feel. Kailh, or officially Dongguan Kaihua Electronics was founded in 1990. They specialise in electronic and electric switches. Whilst Kailh do manufacture clones of the original Cherry MX design, they have also developed several unique designs themselves, such as with their BOX design. Kailh Key Switch Designs Kailh Standard Cherry MX Switches Similar to the Cherry MX Speed switches, these are designed with a higher activation point of only 1.1mm compared to 2.2mm of other Kailh switches. Kailh Pro Switches I almost forgot to mention that during this past month I have written one review that is not live at the time I am writing this, done some video game recordings, and done some personal writing. Unfortunately that is not too much specifically for OCC that I can point to, but I have been putting these to use.After using these switches in several competitive games I am now going to adjust my opinion and say that these ARE good for gaming if you can get used to the heavy spring weights. The really fast reset speeds are definitely worth the trade-off IMO.

Coming to the second sound test recording with OBS Studio and RNNoise, I want to first state that when I listen to when I am speaking and typing with RNNoise enabled I can still hear the Box Jades, but they are clearly and significantly muffled compared to the unfiltered version.

I have been using Kailh Box Jade switches for a while now and I have to say, I love them! They are so smooth and responsive, making typing a joy. I never have to worry about missed keystrokes or accidental key presses with these switches. My best explanation for how I forgot to mention the weight of the Box Jades until now is that it is something I never needed to adapt to. With some of the other switches I could feel their heaviness and needed to adapt a little to it, but I cannot recall needing to do so for these. I quite possibly still did, but also found them comfortable to type on from the beginning and am interested in tactile switches that may offer sharp tactility as well.

I prefer the Kailh Box switches over the Pro switches for typing feel and response. Kailh Speed Copper Kailh Box Jade Switches are a newer switch type than Cherry MX Blues. They are considered a mechanical switch, but they are a bit different than other mechanical switches. Kailh Box Jade Switches have a square housing, whereas most other mechanical switches have a cylindrical housing. These babies are holy dang tactile, I used other words when describing to friends but I think holy dang is pretty good. Cherry MX Blues also have a stronger tactile bump than Kailh Box Jade Switches. What to look for when buying? Cherry MX Blues are considered the standard for gaming keyboards. They offer a slightly slower keypress than Kailh Box Jade Switches, but many people find this to be an advantage because it makes it easier to avoid accidental key presses.I own 6 types and have extensively tried them for at least one month of typing per switch, some much longer. The ones I currently own are: Box Whites, Pale Blues, Jades, Navies, Pinks and Royals. I will go through each switch from my most disliked to my favorite, just know that I don't hate ANY of these switches at all I just prefer some over others. I will also include my average and highest typing speeds that I achieved on Nitrotype. Kailh Box Jade Switches are the newest addition to Kailh’s line of mechanical keyboard switches. They are a step up from the Kailh Blue switches, with a shorter travel distance and a higher actuation point. They are also available in both linear and tactile varieties. Overall, the Kailh Box Silent Red is not as smooth as the other Kailh Box designs, with the Red or Speed Silver offering a smoother feel with a similar activation force. Kailh Speed Silver I love my box jades but they seem to be slightly too stiff. Thinking about buying some whites. But I'm not sure. Read that the whites have near zero tactility. How are they compared to gateron blues in that regard? Is their sound similar to jades?
