About this deal

the way indy always had a sense for when jude wasn't okay and knowing how to support him quietly. the way jude sees indy's fears and leads her away from the darkness and hopelessness in her mind.

Each of the women we meet over the course of the series is incredibly-well fleshed out, with their own distinct strengths, weaknesses and personality quirks. Indira and Jude had some great banter and tension, and there were some extremely hot open door scenes 🔥 As Harper suffers from self destruction, he struggles with duties, family baggages, guilt feeling gnawing him inside.

Swoony, steamy, adorable . . . Read. This. Book. You won't be disappointed. It's a keeper and Mazey Eddings is on my auto-read list forever' A contemporary romance masterpiece . . . The most intoxicating slow burn I’ve read in ages’ RACHEL LYNN SOLOMON There are trigger warnings mentioned in the beginning of the book which was helpful to understand the depth of Jude’s detachment. I admired Indira for her support and stance to Jude. Yes, she had training but her words are heartfelt. Thrust into an elaborate (and ridiculously drawn out) wedding event that’s stressing Jude beyond belief and has Indira seeing her ex and his new girlfriend far more frequently than any human should endure, the duo strike a bargain to be each other’s fake dates to this wedding from hell. The only problem is, their forced proximity and fake displays of affection are starting to feel a bit… real, and both are left grappling with the idea that a situation that couldn’t be worse, is made a little better with the other around.

But these two had such a great relationship, and I loved that they pretty much kept their original childhood relationship but then built on top of that. Their love language was roasting each other, and it was amazing and something I wholly identify with. This is exactly what I was expecting and at the same time so much more. I attached myself so hard to these characters, it was difficult not to feel their emotions like they were my own. This beautiful book takes you on a beautiful journey of love, healing, and learning to love yourself. I’m so in awe of this book and its characters. I really enjoyed these two together, their self journey and their journey to each other, and how it all wrapped up. This was a great ending to the series. It's the largest living thing on earth. Larger than trees, elephants, whales-this one living thing takes up over three square miles in Oregon." She could almost feel him turning that random fact over in his brain. She was glad she wasn't facing him. This would be so much harder if she had to look into his eyes instead of at the wall.AND THAT ladies and sesame street characters is what elevated the incredible, steamy (and i mean it when i say steamy - i was NOT expecting that wooh) chemistry between the two characters. Dan, who is a first year dental student with a family legacy he must contend with, so he doesn’t have that same passion for pulling teeth Harper does. Even though he finds himself falling for her, he’s willing to play by Harper’s rules.

She stormed through the apartment, dropping bags on the kitchen counter as she gathered up odds and ends.We both really love peanut butter,” Chris eventually whispered, saying it like he was delivering the world’s most melodramatic line in a play. The Plus One has THEE best trope: childhood nemesis. Not only that, but they also have to pretend to date! Which makes it ten times better. Indira and Jude are really the best people ever and they deserve the world and their love story is super adorable and swoony and I need more. I'm sad to see the A Brush with Love series end, because Mazey did wonderfully. These characters all resonate with you and stay with you days, months, years after reading their books. They become a part of you and I'm so glad that I got to experience them.

The Review: indira is definitely my favorite character from this little companion series, partially because she’s the one i relate to the most, but also because she’s just such an amazing character in general. she’s witty and fun, not afraid to speak her mind while still managing to be respectful, and overall just has so much love to give for the people in her life. i truly adored her. and jude, ohhh jude. it was very hard to read his chapters sometimes because of how truly broken and sad this boy was, but once indira crashed her way through, seeing him become happy and hopeful was just so ridiculously sweet. i was rooting for him since he was first introduced. i loved that mental health was an important aspect of their relationship and that they were both working on becoming better for themselves. A contemporary romance masterpiece . . . The most intoxicating slow burn I've read in ages' RACHEL LYNN SOLOMON Get a cat, they said. It’ll be fun, they said,” Indira muttered to herself. They primarily being Harper, who had enabled Indira’s impulse decision to adopt a furry companion to fill the dull and gnawing sense of loneliness that hit Indira regularly. It’s … We’re in love,” the woman whispered. By the look on her face, Indira could almost believe it.
