Remastered versions of the Red and Blue albums were reissued on 18 October 2010 (19 October in North America) as two-CD sets. The reissues include expanded booklets with new essays by Bill Flanagan, and extra photographs of The Beatles. 2023 reissues For the group's 1963 debut LP Please Please Me, photographer Angus McBean took the distinctive colour photograph of the group looking down over the stairwell inside EMI House ( EMI's London headquarters in Manchester Square, now demolished). The cover for the 1963 EP The Beatles (No. 1) used a picture from the same shoot.

The surviving members, along with producer Jeff Lynne, recorded new parts and completed a rough mix for ‘Now And Then’ but “technological limitations” meant that Lennon’s vocals and piano were not able to be separated for a clear enough mix. People are claiming this is cut from digital due to these issues; some of which actually indicate that it is, indeed, an analog cut. The album was reissued on 180g vinyl in 2014, prepared from the original UK 1973 compilation master. The fake stereo mixes of the Andy White version of " Love Me Do" (with Starr on tambourine) and " She Loves You" were replaced by the true mono versions, but while the Side 1 label indicated “ Please Please Me” and “ From Me To You” being mono, they were, in fact, the stereo versions.charts.nz The Beatles – 1962–1966". I would imagine a slight change to take into consideration 1962 – 2023 might be appropriate.

I'm happy to eat my words if anyone can provide evidence that this is digitally cut but I'm feeling pretty confident on this one. I actually think, if it was digitally cut, some of the issues here wouldn't be present. The audio fidelity would still be less than Red due to longer sides but the artifacts could be easily removed.
