About this deal

A complimentary copy was provided by Dreamscape Media via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. She didn’t realize at the time that running a tree farm can also come with lots of things besides hard work.

I can’t really explain how or why this happens - but every time I’ve started a book that later on will end up becoming an all time favorite… I get the same exact nervous stomach/heart starts racing/surge of anxiety feeling that lasts for the entirety of the time I’m reading the story —— and omigoddd did I get those feelings for this book. I almost forgot what it felt like since it’s been a hot minute… but nope, those feelings are still possible. Thank you B.K Borison for the reminder. Stella Bloom owns Lovelight Farms and loves it. What she doesn't love are the missing shipments, dying trees and family of raccoons which have taken over the barn. With money problems growing, she enters a contest held by an influencer hoping the cash prize will save the farm. She wants everyone to love her farm, to see it as a romantic place. So, on her application she claims to own Lovelight Farms with her boyfriend.... oops, she doesn't have one!I dare you not to fall in love with Luka + Stella. They are so good together. Respectful and loving and kind and SWOONWORTHINGLY hot. Yes I made that word up and I don't care. I love these two humans and I refuse to admit they aren't real.

Stella and Luka Peters have been best friends for years. He agrees to be her fake boyfriend to help her win the contest. The rest, as they say, is history. Luka and Stella filled my heart with so much empathy and joy! There’s yearning and sexual tension leading up to them finally getting together. Seriously, the YEARNING is some of the best I’ve read recently. There’s clear trust and connection between them, which made the steamy scenes and romance even more enjoyable. I am honestly addicted to Lovelight Farms universe and B. K. Borison's amazing talent for creating the sweetest, cutest couples in the fictional world! Sweet and sexy. Everything you’d ever need in a romance. I’ll buy everything B.K Borison writes' - Hannah Grace, author of IcebreakerBefore I start my review, I have to emphasize that Caleb Alvarez is a real cinnamon bun, the best book boyfriend you can ever be introduced to. I also adored his loyal, entertaining, and tight-knit Alvarez clan. They made me laugh aloud several times. The Lovelight Farm was sweet and charming friends to lovers stories. The story is sweet and perfect for the holidays! Stella Bloom’s dream was to own the Christmas Tree Farm in the small town of Inglewild. This book honestly gave me all the feels! This book is about dreams coming true, both in personal and professional life, and it is one of my favorite tropes — friends to lovers.. There is two more books in this series which I didn’t realize when I started this book. I thought it was just a holiday book can’t wait to read In the Weeds. stars rounding up bc Caleb was so sweet. (Also bc she mentioned the best novella to ever grace spanish television "Corazon Salvaje") If you know, you know! Luca and Stella have been friends for a decade. Stella is in love with Luca and doesn’t want to lose what she has with him in case he doesn't feel like she does. The loss of her mother almost destroyed her and she can't count on her father. She only sees him once a year for a Thanksgiving dinner that is done way before the date just so he doesn't have to explain a child he had outside his marriage to anyone else. The third-act disagreement in the book made me roll my eyes, but I loved everything about this small-town romance.
