Yes, you can use a GoPro as a dash-cam, but you have to keep in mind that it might not be quite as reliable. The two camera heads are the same size. Each is 75.3mm X 36.6mm X 36.6mm (~3″ X 1.5″ X 1.5″) and utilize a 2.1M pixel, 1/2.8″ CMO, 1080p sensor. Both cameras shoot at 1920 X 1080 resolution and provide a 140-degree field of view and a maximum frame rate of 30 fps.
