About this deal

If you are taking a longer trip camping or have any uncertainty over what the weather will be like (you’ve got to love the British weather), then you are likely to want a bit of extra space inside your tent to sit and play games, chat or simply shelter from the rain without disturbing your sleeping set up.

Inflatable tents do tend to be more expensive than their standard counterparts. Depending on your budget, it may be worth stretching to an inflatable tent, but a standard tent will do the job just fine for most people. 2. Number of Bedrooms The experience with wind resistance however is mixed, to put it nicely. I already mentioned the replacement poles as your insurance policy for adverse weather, and there are more than one reports of snapping poles. In terms of all-round weather protection the fibreglass poles seem to be the weakest link. Although, there are ways to reduce the impact of strong winds on your tent, it is also true that pole tents, compared with air tents, are less able to withstand strong winds.

Its versatile design means it's great for up to 8 campers. Alternatively, a smaller group with lots of gear could enjoy the convenience of a 'bedroom and storeroom' setup. More recently, improvements in tent technology have resulted in inflatable beams replacing the need for traditional poles in tents. One of the main benefits of this is that tent poles can break over time and will need repairing, a problem you simply don’t have with inflatable tents.

My only problem is that the Eurohike Sendero 6 is actually a better tent if you consider value for money. If I had the budget that can be stretched a bit I’d go for the Eurohike Sendero 6, no question. Most 8 person tents will come with a decent about of living space so that you can set up your perfect living arrangement inside your tent. Some of the larger options are also big enough to set up a table and chairs. A real bonus if the weather isn’t quite what you had hoped for. 5. Darkened Bedrooms The added benefit of these bedrooms is that they are also cooler in hot weather and can be warmer when the weather is cool. Great for a more comfortable nights sleep. 6. Outer Pitch SizeTraditionally, tents get their rigid shape from poles crossing over the top. This helps the tent remain solid (and up) in the wind.

You might want to have a look at the 5-person family tents too, as these are slightly roomier than a standard 4-berth tent, and most of them have a divider between the two bedrooms. Interestingly, the Eurohike Rydal 500 is one that I can recommend as it is not at all worse than the Sendero 4, and it’s slightly cheaper too. If you have used this product please leave a review, or your comments for other visitors, many thanks!Whichever you choose, the Sendero 4 to keep it to the minimum, or the Sendero 6 for a little bit of extra room and comfort, you can’t really go wrong. Just make sure you put some money aside for the replacement poles in case you need one. There are currently no images uploaded by members for this Tent. If you have a photo, be the first to upload one. Knowing the outer size of the tent you would like to buy is another factor to consider when choosing the right 6 person tent. The Eurohike Sendero 4 is a small family tent with good water protection, that is easy to pitch and carry around. It has loads of room, however it might be a bit tight for four adults, but could make a great tent for a family of four.
