About this deal

One of the most expensive retired LEGO sets in recent memory is also getting a refresh for the summer 2023 lineup. The Ghost is a fan favorite Star Wars vehicle, and if the rumors of the upcoming kits are to be believed, we’ll be getting a new version as set number 75357.

Han Solo’s trusty piece of junk ship, the Millennium Falcon, isn’t just one of the most famous spaceships in the galaxy far, far away; it’s one of the most famous spaceships in human history. The iconic vessel has been made many times in LEGO form, but none more prominent than 75192. Part of the Ultimate Collectors Series (UCS) banner, this 7,541-piece behemoth is the largest LEGO S tar Wars set ever. Fans can recreate iconic scenes from the Original Star Wars Trilogy but also have the option to swap out the minifigures and radar dish to match characters from the newer Sequel Trilogy. The UCS Millennium Falcon is the ultimate prize for any LEGO collector, a set worthy of its spot in the pantheon of LEGO greatness. As an owner of the original Ghost and Phantom, I’m definitely looking forward to this being released and comparing both of them side by side! It’s great that a whole new generation of LEGO Star Wars fans, especially those who have just discovered Rebels recently to get another shot at owning a Ghost. With all that being said, it’s best to retain some caution in fully believing that any of the sets will see the light of day. This year has already had some kits canceled, like the Jabba’s Throne Room diorama, and so it’s worth not getting lost in just how compelling these sets seem. Who knows what will happen as the year unfolds. Looks-wise, LEGO have nailed the Ghost here, and this does look like one of the strongest LEGO Star Wars releases of 2023, so I expect this to be pretty popular! The flagship vessel of Star Wars Rebels has been a white whale set for many LEGO Star Wars collectors. The original model of The Ghost, released alongside the premiere of the animated series in 2014, has nearly doubled in value. Fans have been clamoring for the Danish toymaker to remake the iconic vehicle for years now, and in late summer 2023, their dreams came true. For the first time, The Ghost received significant screen time in the live-action Disney+ series Ahsoka, and it gave LEGO the perfect excuse to resurrect the desirable ship. Modern techniques and acute attention to detail rendered this one of the best Star Wars sets of the year and a build fit to be the centerpiece of any collection.

minifigures are included in the set: General Hera Syndulla, Lt. Beyta, Jacen Syndulla and First Officer Hawkins, plus known war criminal Chopper (C1-10P). But not only that, Admiral Yularen and after almost 10 years a new Captain Rex should be included as Minifigures. Rex is said to be the version from the scene in which his inhibitor chip was removed, the figure is said to have a new head print with patch. C1-10P, better known as Chopper, is Hera's faithful droid companion. This version of the droid is simpler than the equivalent introduced in 2014 and I am disappointed with the printing on his conical head, which comes nowhere near covering its whole circumference, unlike the Chopper figure produced before. Of course, the design being printed askew is also frustrating. The actual ship that this set is based on was seen in the trailer for Disney+'s Ahsoka, and it is the same ship that made an appearance in the epilogue of Star Wars Rebels. It is also important to note that LEGO released a set of a T-6 shuttle in 2011, just not this specific one. 5.) Ahsoka Series Set [75364] Ahsoka
