About this deal

So if you want a Kalahari tent, you can only buy it from Go Outdoors, at the price they dictate, and there is no price competition.

I would recommend buying the footprint. This not only protects your tent but also makes it even easier to put up by giving you a guide to were to peg. The gap at the sides was not too big though, about 4 inches at the most, but flush at the top and bottom of the dome. It also directed most of the rain around the outside of the tent, rather than into the door area. We couldn't get the roof properly taught, again, possibly due to the angle of the tent we attached it to, so water did pool a little above us, but at no point did it leak. The Hi Gear Double Burner With Grill, Lid And Piezo Ignition is ideal for any family or group camping trip. No need for matches, and with a windshield and integrated drip tray for less mess and more safety. Enter our competition to win one! The porch is designed for the tunnel shaped Kalahari, so didn't fit flush to the more curved wall of our Voyager 10, but was the closest option we had available. However, it did cover the entire width of the door, and prevented rain from getting inside the tent, as well as providing us with a large kitchen and eating area. There is a gap of around 2-3 inches along the bottom, and we were invaded by squirrels on one night, but this only taught to us put all food away properly at night! This tent can also with stand the worst weather including wind. If people say theres has blown over they can not have putit up right, as ours stands strong whilst others are getting blown all over the shop

What I can tell you is that it’s a great tent for a family of six. There are two bedrooms that can squeeze four people in each (or four rooms of two if you prefer). A simple, yet versatile 5 Berth tent for easy group camping. Available exclusively from Go Outdoors.co.uk The first time I used it I went away to Aberystwyth for a week. It rained every day, was very windy but extremely hot and muggy. Like all tents it is uncomfortable in heat but you can open all the vents and doors to help. The tent did not let in a single drop of water and stood up to both the torrential rain and high winds without any issues at all. I really cant fault it for that. A great choice for families wanting comfortable, fuss-free camping, or couples wanting extra space for storage and fun. Available exclusively from GoOutdoors.co.ukIt’s pretty easy to pitch – you peg it out and then insert five fibre glass poles. The bedrooms clip in with colour-coded clips, and can be put in or left out as you prefer. Putting it away was a bit tougher and the bugger still doesn't want to get in the bag as neatly as it came out the first time! Secondly (and related) is that the very useful lantern mounting point on the ceiling has a fantastic cable management system - but it only goes down one side of the tent - towards the cable entry point. There are many reasons why the electrical supply wont necessarily be right there so it would be really useful if it had the velcro tabs going both ways. I bought the Kalahari Elite 8 after doing days of research online into which tent to buy. I couldnt afford an inflatable tent and didnt want to get anything too cheap either.
