About this deal

What needs work on the Hyundai Petrol Pressure Washer HYW3000P2, Power Washer, 2800psi, 210cc Petrol Jet Washer The Wilks-USA TX625i Petrol Power Pressure Washer achieves the sort of results that we all expect to see when using a power washer: we’re talking write-in-the-grime levels of cleaning power. One of my Honda Petrol pressure washer where I replaced the hose with a better quality hose that doesn’t kink and is long Like the Wilks it has lovely big wheels that make moving this pressure washer round a breeze. As you would expect from Hyundai it starts great and very comfortable to use. It has an 8.75 litre flow rate which in Lehman terms means plenty of water to clean, you won’t be disappointed on that. It would be nice if all cleanups were the same. The reality is that some require little effort and some require bringing out the big guns.

The Wilks-USA TX750 Petrol Power Pressure Washer is an extremely versatile machine. It comes with a range of nozzles, plenty of power, and a 10m hose. Plus, it’s more compact than the other Wilks-USA machines featured on this list.

Petrol Pressure Washers Compared

The power comes from a 210cc four-stroke engine. You just pull the cord and you’re away after turning the fuel on, switching the on/off switch on and sliding the choke to on or ‘cold’ as the label says. With a max water pressure of 3,950psi and 272 bar combined with one of the nozzles, the most stubborn and long-term stains don’t stand a chance. The hose comes in the base length of 20m plus a 10m extension. Use the shortest length you can to preserve the water pressure in the hose. Its 875EXi Series 190 cc engine runs smoothly but a little louder than some petrol pressure washers, or it used to, that is until they worked out how to really cut the noise down as you release the trigger. I love the heavy duty steel frame, it is built to last. It helps the washer blast out 3200psi of water pressure at 220 bar and has an impressive water flow rate. That’s only a little bit less than the product we chose as our best petrol pressure washer the Wilks TX750i. All the above Wilks pressure washers are best in their cleaning performance. But some are best for cleaning hard surfaces like paving, patios, driveways, stones, boats, etc. The Bosch Professional GHP 5-65 High-Pressure Washer has the power, features and quality that qualify it as a commercial power washer. This electric washer produces 2320 psi of water pressure with a moderate flow rate of 520 l/h. With the usual high quality of Bosch power appliances, especially the anodised aluminium and stainless steel of the pump, this washer can support your new cleaning business well.

Finally there are fumes to think about, so if you are going to be mainly working in a small indoor area, you should make sure it is well ventilated, or opt for an electric pressure washer instead. Wilks RX510 is best for those who like to clean cars, bikes, paving, furniture, etc., at a budget-friendly price with easy to carry due to less weight. You can store this pressure washer anywhere due to its compact design. In the review section, I will make sure I highlight what accessories the unit comes with and what they are used for. Maintenance The pressure doesn’t stay up at 272 bars continuously, after an initial spurt, but it doesn’t drop down too dramatically either. It has a 7.5 m hose as well as an additional 40 cm stainless steel extension lance which allows you to clean in tighter spots without getting soaked. Though the 7.5 m hose may be a little short for some jobs, the pressure washer can be moved with you as you work.

Best-Selling Petrol Pressure Washers in the UK | Comparison Table

This pressure washer is fitted with a 10 m hose, which is a useful length for most jobs, but it’s also relatively easy to move the whole unit around as well. The wheels are large and puncture-proof, able to be used on most terrains. Additionally, the removable top handle means it can be stored compactly after use. Then make sure you release built up pressure from the jet first – if you watch my short video you’ll see on the second pull I forgot to squeeze the lance trigger to remove the pressure. On the third pull I did so and it went straight away. If you follow these instructions it’ll start first time with no hassle at all. Don’t follow these instructions and it will not stat so easily! I called up the manufacturer and amazingly they helped me through this – I wish I read the instructions better though as it was clearly highlighted!

And as for water, you can use pretty much any source. Tap water is standard, but consider open sources of water such as water butts and ponds. This will help both the environment and your (or your clients’) water bills. Pros There is a special nozzle for using detergent and also a detergent injector/ siphon tube to insert detergent directly into the sprayer’s water stream. With this petrol pressure washer you also receive 5 different nozzles, suitable for different tasks. There’s a narrow 0° nozzle as well as a 15°, 25° and 40° nozzle; plus, a low-pressure chemical jet. This pressure washer comprises a solid steel frame with a robust wheel that easily drags the machine on an uneven surface.

For now though I still prefer this pressure washer with the Wilks brand on it as I know their customer services are UK based and they’ll reasonably help if there’s a problem with your machine. I know from experience, I called them to help me with why I couldn’t get the unit started (embarrassingly I didn’t read the instructions properly :D) Starting up the engine was no bother and it sparked into life with a single pull on the cord as long as I used the choke correctly and removed the water pressure from the lance each time. Here’s a short video of that and it shows just how important it is to remove the water pressure by pulling the lance trigger: Wheels are 30cm in diameter and roll easily over rough terrain such as the bumpy bits of your garden to reach the dusty fences.

For most jobs 320 litres per hour water flow will be more than enough to get the job done. If you are working a bigger area, you can still get by with type of water flow, it just will take you longer to get it done.As you can see, Wilks have clearly decided not to leave anything to chance, providing a nozzle for almost any purpose. Maybe your patio, car or pathways still have a grungy look after you’ve washed them down with your garden hose or your electric pressure washer. Call in the big cleaners with a petrol pressure washer. For car cleaning, you’ll want a relatively low pressure of around 100 – 130 bar; therefore, most petrol pressure washers are unsuitable for this. Using a higher bar pressure risks damaging the paintwork, so it’s not something I’d recommend! The 26m (18m + 8m) hose, the 5m power cable and all the accessories have their own on-board storage places. For really heavy cleaning, take advantage of the detergent suction function. Using a cleaning fluid often makes the difference between leaving a surface clean or leaving marks behind. However, you can’t adjust the ratio of water to detergent, so you need to buy the appropriate cleaning fluid for the best results.
