Well I had great expectations for this book but it’s written in a way that would appeal to teenagers. Yes the story has a dark theme and graphic sex but it’s so juvenile. Be aware this really is graphic when it comes to described torture and such but that for me was part of the whole appeal here. Can't recommend this highly enough it was brilliant and also a really decent length as well. I literally binge read this I was that invested, one of my stand out reads this year and just maybe one of my favourite reverse-harem reads ever.

DEN OF VIPERS: Is a full length dark, reverse harem romance book by new to me author K.A. Knight. Various POV's. This is Dark Reverse-harem but it's the situations and actions of the characters involved that add the darkness to this one. The building relationships between Roxy and her men I actually found rather sweet and intense if majorly untraditional and intensively unique. Each of them brings something solely them to the table and together they are a family. A messed-up totally psychotic one but a solid loyal unit all the same. roxy is the most nOt LiKe oThEr GiRLs mc i have read in a long while. she has silver hair, eDgY mAkEUp, and tAts. i know i said i was too lazy to get quotes but i just had to: Roxy is this young woman who has been on her own since she ran away from her abusive father. She now runs a dive bar where she makes the rules and is respected among her customers, but she doesn’t have anyone in her life that she can count on when she needs help. She’s used to having to defend herself and can bring down a man that is easily two or three times her size, and despite her upbringing, she is a fighter. She has learned not to let the demons of her past control her life. the guys in this book make a big show of torturing rapists and stuff but they’re rapists themselves... at one point the “nice” guy of the bunch rapes roxy and the psychopath guy can’t believe she would even think to blame the nice guy. wait i think i have a quote actually:If most triggers don’t bother you and you are accustomed to dark romance and like it, this might be a decent read for you. I have found that people either love or hate this book. I fall into the like category because it’s a good easy read. All the main characters are brilliant on their own but put them together and you get a book full of laughter, adventure, HOT sex, love and loyalty. I won’t spoil the ending, but it’s intense like most of the book. And a lot of graphic scenes of abuse and assault. So, if you can’t handle those types of things Den of Vipers is not for you. Also since I know some types of sex scenes can be triggering, there is that too. Since it explores pretty much every kink. There’s no vanilla sex or the scenes written from an emotional standpoint. It’s all written in the physical sense. And not all the kinks might be something that’s your cup of tea, quite a few of them were not mine. There’s are a lot of sex scenes in the book, like almost every other chapter has a sex scene in it with one of the guys and Roxy… sometimes multiple. It is reverse harem after all.

Then we have Garrett who is the one who lets his demons out to play the most but not like Diesel level. Garrett was almost killed by his ex-fiancé, and ever since then he has hated women. Garrett lets his anger fuel and enhance his fighting abilities. The rest of the Vipers thought leaving Roxy with him would be the safest since he won’t make any advances, but Roxy sees the broken man beneath his tough exterior and is drawn to saving him even if it is a death wish. Only giving it 2 stars because I’m one horny mf and Kenzo keeps coming to me in my dreams. No complaints💅🏻 Diesel is the assassin and his job is to torture and kill. He is a bit crazy from his childhood and loves to inflict pain, it is something he is very good at. Diesel can get anyone to talk when he gets to “play” with them. He is awesome and funny and cra-cra in a good way. He is the first to fall for Roxy. I guess ths pretty much explains my thoughts. In a way this was good but I wish it had much more of a plot instead of being all rushed in the end or it would have turned out as a 5 star for me! I would say that Den of Vipers is a Gangland Mafia style book with an urban location that is well described. It wasn’t hard to imagine what the different locations looked like because K.A. Knight did a fantastic job describing them.

Den of Vipers gets 4 stars and 5 peppers from me. I had originally given the book a 5 star review but after sitting with the story for a while I dropped a star because there could have been more with the subplots that would have made the story more than just a smutty instalove reverse harem.

In all honesty I didn’t know if I was gonna like Diesel. But then the rhapsodizing about his past and how he wouldn’t change a thing because it brought him to his little bird ... well shit. How do you not fall in love with that? literally everything else you can think of in a book is terrible in this one. no, i’m not exaggerating. read it for yourself.The man obsessed with bets and runs all the casinos in town but is low key a sweet heart. I don’t have it in me to diss him because he’s too 🌸🌙💞🥺 The Salvatore brothers tho.. now those made me feel shit sometimes. Yes, don’t judge me ok. You’re here either to read or bcs you’ve already read it so stfu🙄🤚🏻 Kenzo is also calculating as he is the “gambler” of the group. He runs the underground gambling rings, casinos, and everything else in their town that involves betting. Rarely does he loose a bet, and even then, it is because he wanted to loose. Out of all of the men in the Vipers, he is the one with the heart that bleeds for romance. Despite his ability to hurt and murder, he is the one who is able to express his emotions the best.

the other guys are just dumb stereotypes too... we have the “leader,” the “enforcer,” the “bookie,” and the “assassin.”

And from myself? I learned it’s okay to love yourself. Even the darkest parts of you. No matter the shape, size, or weirdness you came with. Embrace your scars and never be ashamed to be who you are, because there is only one of you.” P.s. Where are the CONDOMS? Where is the PROTECTION? When is the last time y’all have gotten TESTED? The raging psychopath that literally sets people on fire for fun. Ok this is new. Scary, but new. So I respect it. Next? Well I loved every moment of this book. Yes it is dark and makes your stomach churn in parts but it’s fantastic. No one messes with the vipers!! we’re the vipers! The vipers strike, we will end them etc etc. There are a lot of repetitive words which give the impression the author has trouble articulating what’s in their head.
