We recruited two MNHQ testers who have tried and tested the Oodie to see what they really thought. My thermostat never goes below 70 degrees, I sleep with at least three blankets on my bed year-round, and I live for the heated seat (and heated steering wheel!) in my car. Basically, cold weather and I don't get along. This hoodie is made from sherpa fleece and flannel so you know it’s extra warm. Plus, it has cat ears! What more could you want in life? For all the tall guys who are concerned their wearable blanket might cut off at the hips, this is the one for you. It’s generously oversized so your entire body can feel the heat. Leopard print is a fashion statement in and of itself, so this hoodie really speaks for itself. You could probably wear it down to the shops without being judged. It's roomy, too, making it easy to toss on over pajamas or other loungewear. Plus, when I sit down, I can cover my entire body with my Comfy (feet included!) and the spacious hood keeps my head warm without feeling tight or constraining. That being said, while it's large and oversized, it doesn't come all the way down to the floor, which means you can move around without it dragging on the ground. Another option to consider is a heated product like the best heated throw or the best heated gilet. You will have to factor in the energy costs of these, but they're a great alternative to a blanket hoodie if you want extra warmth, and they will be significantly cheaper to run than cranking up the central heating. Blanket hoodies (or hooded blankets) are basically a jumper with a large hood that doubles up as a blanket or, in more simple terms, they're oversized hoodies. They're not only functional (keeping you super warm) but they can be stylish and cosy too. Blanket hoodies are a versatile garment for your wardrobe and they're perfect for lounging on the sofa on cold days, wearing after a gym session, taking on a camping trip or keeping the wind chill off at the beach.
