About this deal

This idea did not go ahead, as the first episode took place over a year after Frank's death; however, series 12 episode 1 was still a tribute to Ball. Very often, the only thing that can get Lee off his sofa and active is his efforts to impress the girl of his dreams. The 2015 Christmas special, series 8, the 2017 special, series 9 and the live episode of not going out have not been released on DVD and are not available on any online video service for legal viewing. Faced with the prospect of losing the flat, not to mention his well-meaning but utterly useless cleaner Barbara (Miranda Hart), Lee rents the spare room to Tim's ambitious younger sister Lucy (Sally Breton). SERIES THREE Having developed feelings for Lucy and successfully sabotaging her relationship with her then boyfriend Guy, Lee still has no significant plans to confront her, and distractions such as pregnancies, insurance scams, and lesbian neighbours keep his mind off the bigger picture.

Mack is the last remaining actor from the original cast, and the only actor to appear in every episode. But will a drunken experiment with Lucy show once and for all that love really is in the air or will it just lead to more mayhem and mishaps. But despite last year's Christmas kiss, it's still not plain sailing; and it's not just Lee's complete lack of drive that gets in the way. In Series 7, neighbour Toby ( Hugh Dennis) lies to Lee, saying Lucy has had a date, after which Lee tells Lucy that he loves her and asks Lucy to marry him.

Episodes are: 'Serious', 'Death', 'Aussie', 'Stress', 'Kid', 'Caretaker', 'Mortgage', 'Gay', 'The Librarian', 'Baby', 'Art', 'Dating', 'Gangster', 'Murder at Christmas', 'Pregnant', 'Winner', 'Amy', 'Party', 'Neighbour', 'Speech', 'Marriage' and 'Absent Father Christmas'. In series 6, for the episode entitled Boat, production visited the Port of Ramsgate in Kent to film part of the episode where Lee's dad, Frank ( Bobby Ball), has bought a boat and invites Lee and his friends down to Eastbourne for the weekend. Products labelled '*item fulfilled by Exertis on behalf of hmv' will be supplied to you directly by Exertis via their approved couriers.

A short Children in Need special featuring Sir Terry Wogan followed later in 2012 which was filmed in the recording block for series 6. Not Going Out is a British television sitcom that has aired since 2006, currently starring Lee Mack and Sally Bretton with Geoffrey Whitehead, Deborah Grant, Hugh Dennis and Abigail Cruttenden. Faced with the prospect of losing the flat, not to mention his well-meaning but utterly useless cleaner Barbara (Miranda Hart), Lee rents the spare room to Tims ambitious younger sister Lucy (Sally Breton). Lee's flatmate Kate has moved out for good and his best mate and landlord, Tim has put the apartment up for sale.Often, Lee finds himself confiding in his friend and cleaner, Barbara ( Miranda Hart), about his many problems. Written by and starring Lee Mack (the British Comedy Award and BAFTA winning comedian), series seven of this hit sitcom continues to follow the hilariously ill-thought-out plans and mishaps of Lee as he desperately tries to impress long suffering landlady and object of his affection, Lucy (Sally Bretton). Lee continues to get into all sorts of scrapes and sticky situations in his eagerness to please and impress the object of his affections. They have moved out of the flat and now live in a house in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey (Mack lives in the nearby village of East Molesey in real life). The seventh series aired from 17 October 2014 to 24 December 2014 and consisted of ten episodes, making it the longest series to date.
