An anime adaptation produced by the animation studio Imagin aired in Japan between January 9 and March 26, 2008 on the Chiba TV Japanese television network; [25] twelve of the thirteen episodes were broadcast, with episode seven being a DVD exclusive. Most of the questions of this and the previous volume were wrapped up in this one, though problems or information that was revealed has been set up for resolution in future volumes.

I know that the light novel(s) on which this manga adaptation was based on has been translated into English, but there is just something about the visual medium that makes it stand out. Holo is a powerful wolf deity who is revered in the small town of Pasloe for blessing the annual harvest. It is a different type of adventure; not one of swashbuckling action, but primarily one of two characters trying to a place whose exact location remains a mystery. Note the part about "appears to be", Holo artwork unfortunately more often than not falls well within these parameters, if it can be possibly perceived as such, don't post it.Most of the text layout problems of volume 1 were solved here, so it was less irritating to read than that volume. The first tankōbon volume was released by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Comics imprint on March 27, 2008; 16 volumes have been published as of February 2018. I’ve watched the anime, the 2 seasons of it that were made, so I understood it well enough as this volume is a part of the anime. One day, however, Lawrence's adventure takes an unexpected turn when he discovers a naked wolf girl asleep in his wagon.

The episodes are being released in six DVD compilation volumes in Japan; volume one contains three episodes while the subsequent volumes contain two episodes each.However, on this fateful night, Lawrence finds a girl with wolf ears in his wagon, who later turns out to be the same wolf goddess – Horo.
