For the last couple of years Heavenly has been less ubiquitous, giving me a chance to try to smell it without all the evocations.

at first spritz, the peony is very present, then the first half hour some kind of floral bomb explodes and the peony is gone, its replaced by something very strong and I don't really like the composition. I didn't like it at first and it seemed so generic, but I smelled it again recently and I was like wow, this smells great.If Egyptian Musk body oil and Old Spice cologne had a love child, it could both be named and would surely smell like Heavenly VS. Then there is a spicy note that does not quite compute with the rest, at least on me, which would be the cardamom. In the past, the company had an exclusive contract with the likes of Gisele Bündchen, Miranda Kerr or Naomi Campbell.

However, I can't get over the excessive alcohol and aldehyde in this formulation that unfailingly give me a bad case of migraine every single time people wear this perfume. Very flowery and musky, very clean and pure feeling of the angel, flying in the bright skies on her white wings. It could easily pass as a scent from a more upmarket designer brand, as the quality is fairly evident.Overall a good scent that, while recognizable, isn't a statement maker by any stretch of the imagination.

Cardamom in the our spice cabinet smells powerful and strange, but it contributes a lot to the balance of this fragrance. Victoria’s Secret is here for everyone who’s young at heart and wants to feel sexy, feminine and sophisticated at the same time.

It reminds me of my best friend, as I first smelled it on her and always wondered why she smelled so amazing. I can see some ladies describing it as sensual which I don't see at all because its too light and more of a work/church type of scent.
