Bamboo is a natural product and due to the UK’s wet weather bamboo may develop mould or a slight discolouration. While the galvanized steel wire holding the bamboo together is flexible, it also keeps the poles firmly in place.

Every pattern in the range has been carefully crafted to allow the design to flow from one screen to the next, making it almost impossible to see where one screen ends and another begins. Treat with wood preservative or varnish for extra protection (clear silicone mastic works for small diameter poles).For long term preservation the screens should be treated with a wood preserver after 12-18 months of weathering – restoring the colour of the bamboo and providing further protection following the weathering. Overall, this is high quality bamboo screening that is multipurpose, comes in a great size and should last you for years. Again, installation is fairly seamless although as these bamboo slats are a little thicker than some of the other ones on this list, there’s less scope for flexibility.It is recommended that the screens are installed a few inches/cms off the ground to help prevent rotting at the base.
