About this deal

While I was happy to receive a thoughtful gift like this ( I have always loved Manga, ever since I was little), I disliked the drawing style of the Manga.

She's also acquired a new nickname, 'Hachi', and is officially the newest fan of BLAST, Osaki Nana's band. fuck sachiko too tbh idc if she's attracted to shoji once u find out someone has a gf u leave them alone!Nana, whilst being clothed in an awesome punk rock fashion with a confidence I'd kill for, has an astoundingly vulnerable and soft side. Born in 1967, Ai Yazawa is the author of numerous best selling manga, including Tenshi Nankajanai (Im No Angel) and Gokinjo Monogatari (Neighborhood Story). She's also excellent at pinning down girls' emotions and you really feel you can understand what Nana O and Nana K are feeling. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Ai Yazawa is the creator of many popular manga titles, including Tenshi Nanka Janai (I'm No Angel) and Gokinjo Monogatari (Neighborhood Story).

Yazawa started her manga publishing life in 1985; throughout 15 years of publishing, she wrote over ten series on Ribon magazine. Yazawa's most famous manga include Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai (I'm Not an Angel), Gokinjo Monogatari (Neighborhood Story), Paradise Kiss, and Nana. By far one of my favourite romances because of the super transparent and realistic nature imbedded within it. When scandal hits Blast hard, Trapnest (and her fianc ) flee to Europe and Hachi is left to watch Blast suffer in the scandal rags and tabloid shows. Her mother is a part of the police force and is rarely home, so she is left up to her own devices having to take care of herself. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. A chance meeting on a train to Tokyo sends two girls named Nana on a collision course with destinyNana Hachi Komatsu hopes that moving to Tokyo will help her make a clean start and leave her capricious love life behind her Nana Osaki who arrives in the city at the same time has plans to score big in the world of rocknroll Although these two young women come from different backgrounds they quickly become best friends in a whirlwind world of sex music fashion gossip and allnight partiesThings are slowly coming together for Nana Osaki The guitarist and drummer from her old band have joined her in Tokyo and shes finally found a ripping new bass player to replace Ren Honjo The Black Stones are back and theyre ready to kick some assNana Komatsu however cant shake her old nemesis the Demon Lord Shes stuck in a deadend job and theres trouble brewing with her boyfriend Shoji Hes been working late and hasnt exactly been the most attentive lover Poor Nana Life in Tokyo is turning out to be a total bummer. Not unrealistic, just a wonderful manga that makes you feel connected to every character because of they’re flaws. The guitarist and drummer in her old band have joined her in Tokyo and she's finally found a new bass player. Unfortunately for posting reviews, my reading for fun often takes a back burner for challenges and books sent for review.I like seeing the developing relationship between the two Nanas, and the other characters really add so much to the story. The guitarist and drummer from her old band have joined her in Tokyo and she’s finally found a ripping new bass player to replace Ren Honjo.

Only today I realize this story is not about "oh I need to work", "oh we play in a band" but rather the chasing of one dreams and the resulting, real struggle of walking a steep path with plenty of obstacles to reach the top. The guitarist and drummer in her old band have joined her in Tokyo and she's finally found a ripping new bass player to replace Ren Honjo. And heck, the story did not appeal to me at all - why would a 13 yr old enjoy a story about two girls having difficulties with their lives? I think what I love about this series is that it's so realistic and that the characters experience things that really could happen in real life. The storylines generally are centered on young women and their relationships, something with which her young fanbase identifies.American readers were introduced to Yazawa's stylish and sexy storytelling in 2002 when her title Paradise Kiss was translated into English. Hachi, the cutesy overly caring girl, manages to acknowledge her wrong- doings and works on herself in almost every chapter. She has a trendy new apartment, but she's isolated from all her friends and Takumi is hardly ever home. Her title, Kagen no Tsuki (Last Quarter), was so popular that it was even made into a live action film last year.
