I would not re-purchase a full bottle of this, I believe better alternatives are avalaible in the market of today. out of 10 it serves its purpose as a gym bag or after shower fragrance nothing else, i really tried to like it but its boringness and lack of preformance leave it with my complete dissatisfaction. I was more of a “Hollister Jake” kid in middle/high school growing up but am highly considering grabbing a bottle now in my late 20s, mostly for the nostalgia factor.

A very generic masculine set that I haven't worn or bought since then but a great scent with a strong woody and musky dry down. In fact, I got like 3 unsolicited compliments on this stuff within the first two days of wearing it, and I only use two sprays on myself! I only bought this bottle because I wanted to see what the older version of Fierce smells like, but apparently it's rare and very hard to find. This was the early 2000's Aventus, a hype monster, even people without Internet still heard the hype that's how big this scent was.This has been around for 20yrs and is still a viable choice in the crowded mass citrus/woods appeal genre. Unfortunately, there will truly never be another Fierce like the one I (we) fell in love with years ago. SO, Not only will adding these alien notes tarnish the sanctity of ORIGINAL FIERCE, but because most people by now will never know what the original smelt like, people will up-vote the three new formula FIERCE notes to all hell because that's all new FIERCE smells like; collapsing the integral notes that the elders spent years on Fragrantica voting on to leave for us to conceptualize of ORIGINAL FIERCE.

If you can't get past that;or all your other ideas about what Abercrombie is or isn't, you're missing out on an incredible fragrance. I fooled myself into thinking that it was going to be the robust, powerful, long lasting KING it was back in the days. Many years later, I was hesitant to wear this and even more embarrassed to say what I am wearing when people asked. Occasionally I’ll spritz it in my apartment or spray it on when I want to recapture my teenage self.Purchased this after trying this first as a tester, i have the original fragrance and although its not the most expensive in my collection this is STILL very much value for money, the actual perfume is as near as you will get too the original, in fact i could not tell them apart and I've been collecting fragrances from around the globe for many years, this fragrance is BANG ON .
