The Dragon Rampant can be found as a heraldic supporter for many of the towns and families of Wales, as well as the flag of Somerset. Of course, every fantasy army needs something truly fantastic, so I will also add a 1 X 6 unit of Eureka centaurs. It's a fun rule set that doesn't take itself to seriously which is what I'm looking for in a fantasy game. The key difference as I see it is that for my Sci-fi games most units would have a ranged fire capability, which would alter the feel (and possibly balance) of the standard game. I have another batch of about 20 to finish, which will allow me to field more options for a Dragon Rampant force. The Bolt-on add-ons are also similarly broad and creative use of the rules to represent what you want on the table is encouraged by the author.

We've tried options of giving everyone's leader the ability that gives them one reroll a turn, or allowing them to give up a glory point to get a reroll. We play many different games and through our stories you can get a feeling of how the games play, what tactics work for us, and many excellent pictures of miniatures and terrain in action. allow players breathing space to create their own worlds rather than forcing them to be tied to a line of miniatures. Bellicose Foot operate entirely differently from Heavy Foot or Elite Foot for example, so there's lots of flavour, even before you start tweaking the profiles with optional and fantasy rules.

The new games room is mostly sorted, and last weekend Jase and I managed to fit in a couple of co-op games of Rangers of Shadow Deep and a game of Sci-Fi Rampant.There are those where you min/max a top tier army list within a restricted range of expansive models using a complex rule system and a dozen supplements according to a changing metagame.
