I thought they were a luxury I could do without, and I was happy with my hiking boots despite the occasional wet foot.

but I would recomend them to anyone wanting a cheap pair of waders although I will probabaly spend a little more next time and hope to get a slightly tougher pair. Not had a chance to get back with them yet, might just bin them or go for four faults in five months. Your mobility when swarming over rocks and reefs is second to none and also the ability to swim to and off rocks and bars and be safer on huge offshore flats is the up side.
