About this deal
I own hundreds of colognes though so if this was truly outdated and replaceable my reaction wouldn't be so responsive in 2021. To obtain a long lasting trail, complete by spraying in a double ring-gesture around your head and towards your shoulders.
Definitely one of my personal favourites, but I can understand why some flankers are very popular also. You can wear this all year round even thoug I actually can't smell the anise, which is a good thing in my personal opinion, but the olive blossom and leather-ish note is perfectly mixed together and does not compete, but enchances each other.
Powdery clean florals, musk, soft vanilla, and citrus - this is my all-time favorite winter fragrance.
Market-wise, the original Code has carved a place for itself as the "other" Armani after the more aquatic and successful Acqua di Giò pour Homme. Overall it‘s quite masculine and to my nose something more of a mature scent for a well put together guy. I smelled this in ULTA and really enjoyed it, totally unisex but it doesn’t last at all 😂 Definitely a new formulation, I checked the notes and I personally don’t smell tobacco or leather at all (thank god lowkey because I hate those notes) just tonka. Particularly, I just have a problem with this scent: I can't wear it for two days in a row, since something about it makes me tired, making impossible the idea of having it as my olfactory signature. Torrefied Tonka base: At the base, Armani Code’s signature Tonka bean absolute is lent a new and accentuated warmth thanks to a process of torrefaction, or roasting: the result is a richer and more sensual scent.Whilst the new formulations are nice the older bottle design is iconic and makes this frag stand out that little bit more.
