After spraining my ankle around three weeks before this, I was in quite a lot of pain, but I pushed through and used the adrenaline to my advantage. Caroline Paige was the first transgender officer who served openly in the UK military for 16 years after transition. Having spent time with Jamie, my observation is that he is a very articulate and thoughtful Ambassador. Blesma’s scuba diving programme really does have great scope because it’s an activity that is accessible to people with almost any form of disability. I then ran downstairs and I asked my mum if I could get a scooter as it was my birthday the next week, she said yes.
