EVENS SKIN It covers every imperfection, yet still looks light and fresh. This is the really baffling part to me. I can’t figure it out. I can layer this on without it ever looking heavy. Or wear just one light layer and it really smooths the look of my skin. I know that there are few people who thought that this was a bronzer launch, however, I can confirm that this is, in fact, an all over powder and you simply need to choose the same shade as you use a shade that works with your Luminous Silk foundation. My shade is 4. It’s hard to find a great peach undertone in a foundation and shade 4.25 is perfect! I do wish they’d come out with one level lower, a shade 3.25, for my super pale winter skin. I’ve been mixing in a bit of their shade 2 (fair, peach) when I am more fair.

Thanks to its glowy finish, Armani Luminous Silk is ideal for dry, normal, and mature skin types — even oily skin like mine. Anyone with oily and acne-prone skin can also enjoy this iconic foundation with a little finessing. For the record, the L’Oreal True Match lumi foundation is supposed to be a drugstore dupe for this product. I have not used that foundation hence I cannot compare but I know tons of beauty bloggers who support this opinion. Its lightweight and silky texture glides on seamlessly for an all-day, buildable coverage. Comes in 40 shades and suitable for all skin types. Really and truly, the only downside I can see is that the foundation is pricey. But I absolutely feel like the quality of it’s the finish justifies the price. I only have the highest praise for this foundation.
