It has been used in wet weather and did not leak, reading the reviews there seem to be loads of poor quality tents out there but we are really satisfied. The only downside is the main door has two side zips, relying on the inner mesh to close the bottom of, this can flap in the wind so we've put some velcro across the bottom, and the carpet has no way of securing it, leading to it slipping and sliding, velcro again,problem solved. Large panoramic windows throughout (with roll up curtains) give you a great view out and let light in, while mesh venting (that can be closed down at night or in bad weather) lets air flow freely. The main downside of this tent is the size and weight when packed I think it tips the scales at about 70kgs packed into 3 bags (1 tent and 2 poles).Condition: This Individual Pole Run is a reproduction, made from new black fibreglass pole sections. With the carpet down this tent was cosy, with plenty of room in the living area for the kids to play, or indeed for us all to sprawl out to play card games, or bring the table in and eat if the weather is bad etc. We have had 10 sleep in this comfortably and still has plenty of space to move around in the good old English weather. With protection from the elements, improved airflow systems and easy pitching, a good night’s sleep will certainly be provided from this extensive selection of tents. With over 30 years’ experience of in providing equipment for a wide range of outdoor activities, Hi-Gear is a brand that people know and trust. I have to admit that I have only one small criticism of this tent which can be aimed at almost any polyester tent in that when the sun comes out it warms up! And if the heavens do open, you'll be dry inside due to the flysheet's very waterproof 6000HH rating. The front door can be extended using the included steel poles to form a canopy, giving you more room to spread out, and extra shade from the sun. We were the envy of many of the other campers who stopped as they passed by to comment on it and have a look inside at the spacious living areas.
The velcro flaps that hold the 'curtains' up look like they could rip off quite easily if you aren't careful when lowering the curtain and also that the zips quite often get caught on the outside of the tent when closing from the inside, so care is needed when closing up for the night.

All in all, if space is what you want, along with stability and easy pitching you won’t go far wrong with this.The tent is built to last, with a hardy and sturdy construction and a Hydrostatic head of 6000, which means it can withstand heavy rain and strong winds. Overall, I’d rate this tent a 8/10 for the tent, 10/10 for the other accessories and a 4/10 for the porch. In fact, I would say it takes no longer to pitch than our Outwell Corvette, an airbeam which comes in two pieces. When we purchased our Corado8 we were new to camping and wanted a large tent (there are six of us) without spending a small fortune, just in case camping was not for us.
