About this deal

Hello, I am a puddle of goo. I am mush. I have collapsed into a pile of swoons and sighs. The Cheat Sheet is the most adorable and heartwarming swoonfest of a best friends to lovers romance I’ve ever read, and I’m slightly depressed now that it’s over because I miss it and because I want this kind of love story for myself. As always, my main points are bolded. there was also a lot of use of capital letters to convey yelling which always rubs me the wrong way in books. usually i can look past it, but it happened SO often and it wasn’t even in speech half the time. The score wasn’t the only thing keeping me on edge though. Nathan seemed really off during the first quarter. He finally settled in and threw four touchdowns, but still, he didn’t quite seem like himself. I watched the game from his couch and screamed so loud through most of it that I won’t be surprised if he tells me he could hear me at the stadium.

Overall, not much to say. Cute Rom-Com vibes with a hero who worships his heroine, and a supportive female lead that tells her hero how much letting go of his pent up emotions is healthy and encourages him to go to therapy 👏👏 Provides an overview of the basics of Python including variables, lists, dictionaries, functions, classes, and more. There’s always a moment at the end of the day when she takes the pins out and all those wild curls fall down around her shoulders—kills me every time. The romance was so sweet and extremely swoony. And there was still steam, even though the big stuff happened behind closed doors. This was different steam. It’s hard to put it into words, but the emotion and the love that was present was more than enough for me. The build-up to the big stuff, like the tension and the wanting and the kisses were so well written, that I didn’t feel disappointed or like I lost anything by not reading an actual sex scene. I loved it, and felt it was perfect. The Cheat Sheet is Sarah’s newest addition to her series of fantastic romantic comedies. One of my favorite things about Sarah’s stories is how relatable her heroines are. They’re beautiful, charming and hilarious, but we can all see a little bit of ourselves in them. I have also listened to the audio of this book, and I highly recommend it. Teddy Hamilton brought Nathan’s sweetness to life, and Renee Dorian was perfect for Bree. Her voice and humor made for an amazing listening experience.

Which means tallerthan-average countertops and cabinetry that touches the heavens. We get it, Nathan, you’re tall! Clearly, he didn’t factor in his best friend breaking into his apartment and baking brownies for him while he’s flying home from winning a playoff game! Yep, they won, but it was a tight one. I don’t think I have any fingernails left.Nope! Nothing but good old-fashioned, no-touching-the-sexiest-man-alive, platonic friendship for Bree. In any case, she has other things to worry about. After a car accident ended her chance at becoming a professional ballerina, Bree changed paths and now owns her own dance studio, with big dreams to expand it. But one more rent increase could mean the end of the studio entirely. The problem is, most likely, my super high expectations. This was supposed to be amazing, a new favourite, something I'd recommended to people over and over again...I'm disappointed. THE MUTUAL PINING, THE JEALOUSY, THE FEAR, THE FLUFF, THE HIDDEN FEELINGS JUST BUBBLING OVER KJEBKVHEJ I look up at him with a scowl because my body is getting far too excited about our proximity right now. He knows not to do this, and yet here he is, breaking another rule tonight. His face is chiseled stone as he stares straight ahead, ignoring my glare. The hostess finally notices us and rushes to her little podium. This bugs me. I mean, it says something about you if you're sexing up other people while hung up on another. And while casual sex might be fine (dunno, never have, doubt I could), these are relationships with at least weeks standing (and Bree just dumped someone at the six month mark). And that's just a jerk move (to be in the relationship, not that she dumped him).

Sarah writes a good slow burn. Yes, it’s closed-door, but this book is just 100% sexual tension because these characters are constantly horny for each other. And I love that so much. Everybody around them notices it, except them. Isn’t that just the best thing ever? So, Nathan enlists (or rather they force him to do so) the help of his friends/teammates to come up with the Romance Cheat Sheet to help Nathan win over Bree the right way and guys, it’s amazing. I love bromances and Sarah does such a wonderful job introducing us to all these guys and their personalities and how all of them fit together. It’s just the best thing ever! And as a couple they were pretty great. This book was surprisingly slow burn which I really liked, but there was a bunch of romance when they were fake dating to make up for that! Overall, they were a really cute couple even if at times some aspects of their relationship seemed random.Nothing but good old-fashioned, no-touching-the-sexiest-man-alive, platonic friendship for us! Everything is exactly how I like it! Yes. Good. (I’m not crying, I’m just peeling an onion.)
