About this deal

Now enter the known numbers and letters. If you know that the letter T is represented by the number 22, then enter '22' in Number 1 and 'T' in Letter 1, and so on for up to five known pairings. You must enter at least three pairings. Number 1: We really hope you enjoy the i Book of Codewords - if you have any comments, questions, or any other puzzle types you'd like to see in puzzle book format, please do use the comments section below to let us know. Hi Robert, Thanks for the message. The next codeword book (volume 12) should be out around late February/early March this year. Hope you are enjoying them! This is our second general knowledge quiz. It's time to see how good your general knowledge is! We hope you enjoy having a go and seeing what score you'll get!

For those new to the puzzle type, the rules are simple: there are 26 numbers in the grid, 1-26, and each stands for a different letter of the alphabet. So 1 could stand for T, for instance. Every letter of the alphabet appears in the grid at least once, which is called a pangram. And the same number always stands for the same letter in a puzzle, so if 1 stands for T, everytime you see 1 in the top left corner of a square you can enter a T in to the square. We are pleased to announce the release of a brand new book, the i Book of Codewords which contains 100 brand new codeword puzzles. We hope that you enjoy this collection of brand new codeword puzzles, whether you have solved the codeword puzzle in the daily newspaper for a number of years or are relatively new to this fun puzzle type.
